Hedychium aurentiacum
The Hedychium Aurentiacum can eventually grow to the height of 180cm/72″, once established and mature. Also known as “ginger lily” or “ornamental ginger” It is half hardy and known to survive in the UK in milder, sheltered growing conditions. In other parts it is recommended to either grow it in a large planter or in the ground with some winter care, ie shelter for the planter and/or mulching in the open ground. Through the growing season needs sunny warm conditions.
