Allium ‘Purple Rain’
Another hybrid variety in the large allium family. It combines its intense purple colour, coming from A. ‘Purple Sensation’ and a more open “sparkler” flower bloom from A. ‘Christophii’. Typically grows to about a height if 90 cm with its flower being the size of a large tennis bal. It has received RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) for its reliable performance in the garden!
