Allium ‘Globemaster’ plant
A very popular allium variety, allium ‘Gladiator’ is one of the earlier flowering ornamental onions. Its usual flowering time is June onwards but it is known to start as early as May. After flowering it leaves you with an impressive and attractive looking dries seed head. When planting the bulbs in the Autumn or a growing plant in the Spring keep in mind the size of the bloom! As well as attractive to pollinators it is also deer and rabbit resistant.
