Allium ‘Pinball Wizard’ plant
This variety, allium ‘Pinball Wizard’ is often mistaken for its lookalike cousin allium ‘Globemaster’. If side by side the difference is more obvious. The individual flowers in ‘Pinball Wizard’ are slightly smaller, more compact and a more silver-pink-purple than the flowers of allium ‘Globemaster’. However it performs as well and is very appealing in its appearance. It is quite often taller than 60 cm, which is its official height. Also the leaves are not prone to die back as quick as some other alliums. All in all one allium to consider as an addition!
