Allium ‘Gladiator’ plant
A very popular allium variety, allium ‘Gladiator’ is one of the earlier flowering ornamental onions. The metallic, rose -purple flower is produced on a tall sturdy stem. As with most alliums it is always good to make certain the bulbs are planted at the depth of 3-4 times the size of the bulb. Its foliage will also wither as soon as the flower bud appears. This variety is, as most alliums, very attractive to pollinators, and generally deer, rabbit and rodent resistant. An excellent addition in your garden!
