Allium Giganteum
A classic variety in the allium family. It produces tall flower stems with striking, large dense spheres of purple star shaped flowers adding dramatic height to your borders. Its foliage, as with most allium varieties, starts fading as soon as the flower buds are showing. To hide this foliage it helps to plant the bulbs amongst lower growing plants. It is once again a very attractive flower for pollinators.
